As a Product Manager / Product Owner, you are accountable for the end-to-end stewardship of technical products. This role blends traditional Product Management responsibilities-vision, strategy, stakeholder alignment, and lifecycle ownership, with Product Owner responsibilities-day-to-day engagement with engineering, backlog ownership, and delivery execution. Because our products are internal, technical platforms and capabilities, this role requires familiarity with the software development lifecycle (SDLC). You are expected to understand modern development practices, tooling, and technical concepts well enough to effectively partner with engineers, evaluate tradeoffs, and translate business intent into technically sound solutions.
Success in this role requires operating fluidly across delivery models (Agile, hybrid, or non-Agile) and adapting your approach based on team maturity and organizational needs. Regardless of methodology, you are responsible for ensuring products are well-defined, well-valued, and well-built.
