JOB TITLE: Senior Technical Consultant SAP Data Migration Cockpit & LTMC Expertise
Experience Required: 5-9 years
DEPARTMENT: SAP Delivery DES
Location: Hyderabad/ Pune/ Hybrid
Shift: 5.30 pm to 1.30 am IST
Key Responsibilities
- Design and implement SAP Data Migration strategies using SAP Data Migration Cockpit (DMC) and Landscape Transfer Migration Cockpit (LTMC) for master and transactional data.
- Develop innovative solutions for complex migration challenges, ensuring compliance with SAP best practices.
- Configure and manage DMC migration objects, templates, and mapping rules for data upload.
- Utilize LTMC templates for legacy data transfer and ensure accurate mapping, validation, and reconciliation.
- Lead end-to-end data migration activities, including planning, extraction, transformation, loading, and validation.
- Collaborate with functional teams to understand ERP processes and ensure smooth data migration.
- Perform data profiling, cleansing, and remediation to maintain high data quality standards.
- Prepare Technical Specifications, Configuration, and Testing documents for migration processes.
- Optimize performance for large-scale migrations and troubleshoot migration errors in DMC and LTMC.
- Extract data from legacy systems and databases (Oracle, SQL Server, MySQL, Sybase, Teradata, etc.) and transform for SAP.
- Work with SAP BODS for ETL processes where required and integrate with DMC for complex scenarios.
- Validate migrated data using SAP tools and custom SQL queries; ensure data integrity post-load.
- Stay updated on SAP S/4HANA migration methodologies and emerging technologies like Data Science, Python, AI/ML for future enhancements.
Experience:
- Minimum 5 years of experience in SAP Data Migration projects with hands-on expertise in SAP DMC and LTMC.
- Strong experience in SAP S/4HANA migration projects using DMC and LTMC.
- Knowledge of SAP modules (FICO, SD, MM, PP, PM, QM, HCM, VC, EWM).
- Experience in data validation, verification, and cleansing using SAP tools.
- Familiarity with SAP Data Model, entity relationships, and database concepts.
- Worked on at least 3 full-cycle SAP data migration projects.
- Certification in SAP Data Migration Cockpit or ETL tools preferred.
Education:
- Bachelor's degree required; advanced certifications in SAP Data Migration tools are a plus.
