Senior Technical Consultant - SAP CPQ

Job Summary:

The Senior Developer at Argano plays a key role in the design, development, and maintenance of software systems, particularly focusing on Zilliant CPQ solutions. This individual acts as a technical leader on complex projects, ensures adherence to scope and timelines, and provides technical consulting to a diverse client base, from small businesses to enterprise-level organizations. They are expected to work independently or lead development workstreams and contribute heavily during the analysis and design phases of the software development lifecycle.

Responsibilities:

• Work on problems of moderate to large scope by analyzing a variety of factors and exercising judgment within defined procedures.
• Build and maintain effective internal and external working relationships.
• Analyze medium to large-size client requirements and assist in designing comprehensive technical solutions.
• Participate in solution design and implementation by gathering business requirements and performing infrastructure analysis.
• Assist in the design and development of Zilliant CPQ applications and related integrations.
• Participate in discovery meetings to determine data flows and storage methods between systems.
• Collaborate with Project Managers to define client needs, estimate efforts, and align development goals and timelines.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code primarily in Groovy, and develop reports using Jaspersoft.
• Participate in administrative and train-the-trainer sessions as needed.
• Contribute to filling out design workbooks and developing project requirement documentation.
• Ensure timely and accurate implementation of the Zilliant CPQ application, including required system integrations.
• Assist in testing, user training, and planning/executing data conversions to ensure successful delivery.

Minimum and Preferred Qualifications:

Education:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or related field.
• Relevant coursework or certifications in programming or software development preferred.

Experience:

• 4+ years of experience as a Technical Consultant or in a related development role.
• Experience with Zilliant CPQ, PriceFx, PROS, or equivalent CPQ solutions.
• Hands-on experience with version control tools and software development life cycle best practices.
• Experience with Java or Groovy programming.
• Familiarity with REST APIs and web services technologies.
