We are looking for an experienced Senior Technical Consultant with deep, hands-on expertise in Salesforce and Copado to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing Salesforce implementations, DevOps automation, CI/CD processes, and environment management using Copado.
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable and efficient Salesforce solutions while ensuring streamlined deployment and release management practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and deployment of Salesforce solutions using best practices.
- Manage end-to-end CI/CD pipelines and release processes through Copado.
- Work closely with functional consultants, developers, and QA teams to ensure seamless delivery.
- Automate deployment, testing, and data migration processes across environments.
- Perform code reviews, configuration audits, and troubleshoot deployment issues.
- Manage Salesforce environments, sandboxes, and metadata alignment.
- Define and enforce DevOps best practices, including version control and branching strategies.
- Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior team members.
- Ensure adherence to security and compliance standards within Salesforce and Copado.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 810 years of overall Salesforce ecosystem experience, with strong hands-on development and deployment background.
- 4+ years of solid hands-on experience with Copado including setup, pipelines, version control integration, and automated deployments.
- Proficient in Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Components (LWC), and Salesforce APIs.
- Strong understanding of Salesforce metadata structure, environment strategy, and release management.
- Hands-on experience with Git-based version control systems (GitHub, Bitbucket, etc.).
- Strong knowledge of CI/CD principles, automated testing, and DevOps processes.
- Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
- Salesforce and/or Copado certifications are highly desirable (e.g., Copado Certified Consultant, Salesforce Platform Developer, Admin).
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with Salesforce DevOps tools (Gearset, AutoRABIT, Jenkins) in addition to Copado.
- Certifications in Salesforce Sales or Marketing Cloud is a plus.
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
- Prior experience working with global or distributed teams.
- Excellent communication skills.
We are open to considering candidates from Bangalore or Pune who are comfortable working shift hours that overlap with the EST time zone, in a hybrid setup with 3 days a week in the office.
