About The Role
We are looking for a highly analytical and motivated
Senior Technical Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technical execution. In this role, you will transform high-level business problem statements into clearly defined projects, analytical models, and development-ready user stories.
You will work closely with business stakeholders, data engineers, BI teams, and product teams across the full data lifecyclefrom problem discovery and data exploration to insights delivery and measurable business outcomes. This role is ideal for professionals passionate about data, analytics, and structured problem-solving in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
Key Responsibilities
Business & Analytical Responsibilities
- Partner with business stakeholders to understand high-level problem statements and translate them into detailed requirements and project scope
- Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights
- Create and maintain Business Requirement Documents (BRDs), user stories, process flows, and analytical documentation
- Convert business needs into clear, concise, and development-ready user stories and tasks in Jira
Data & Technical Responsibilities
- Collaborate with data engineering teams to design, review, and validate data pipelines, data models, and ETL/ELT workflows
- Build dashboards, reports, and visualizations using BI tools to effectively communicate insights
- Apply foundational data science techniques including statistical analysis, basic predictive modeling, and ML fundamentals
- Validate data quality, accuracy, and consistency across multiple data sources and systems
Collaboration & Execution
- Work closely with product, engineering, BI, and operations teams to support end-to-end delivery of analytics solutions
- Support development, testing, and deployment of data-driven solutions
- Present findings, insights, and recommendations clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences
Required Skill Sets
Must-Have Skills
- 6+ years of experience as a Technical Business Analyst
- Strong SQL skills for data analysis and validation
- Experience with Data Visualization tools such as Power BI or Tableau
- Foundational knowledge of Data Engineering concepts including ETL/ELT, data warehousing, and cloud platforms (AWS/GCP/Azure)
- Working knowledge of Python or R for data analysis and statistical modeling
- Strong business analysis, problem framing, and requirement-gathering skills
Soft Skills
- Excellent analytical and structured problem-solving abilities
- Strong communication, documentation, and presentation skills
- Ability to translate business problems into technical and analytical solutions
- High curiosity, adaptability, and eagerness to learn new tools and technologies
Educational Qualifications- BE / B.Tech or equivalent degree in:
- Computer Science
- Information Technology
- Data Science
- Related technical disciplines
Nice to Have
- Exposure to predictive analytics or machine learning use cases
- Certifications in data analytics, cloud platforms, or BI tools
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments
