Job Description

Key Responsibilities
Architecture & Design
. Lead architecture design for large-scale, high-performing, secure, and resilient systems using Java, Spring Boot, and microservices.
. Define and own the technical roadmap, architectural guidelines, and best practices.
. Architect cloud-native solutions leveraging AWS/Azure/GCP services, serverless components, containers, and managed services.
. Develop reference architectures, POCs, and reusable frameworks.
. Ensure architecture alignment with business goals, scalability needs, and compliance standards.
Technical Leadership
. Mentor and guide engineering teams, senior developers, and technical leads.
. Conduct design reviews, code reviews, and architecture audits.
. Drive adoption of DevOps, CI/CD, automation, and modern engineering practices.
Cloud & Infrastructure
. Design cloud deployment architectures using Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform, CloudFormation, or ARM templates.
. Implement cloud-native patterns: API Gateway, event-driven architecture, messaging queues, caching, distributed transactions.
. Optimize performance, cost, and security of cloud solutions.
Collaboration & Stakeholder Management
. Work closely with product managers and cross-functional teams to translate business needs into technical solutions.
. Collaborate with enterprise architects to standardize architecture patterns.
. Communicate complex technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience
. 12+ years of experience in software engineering with at least 5 years in architecture roles.
. Expertise in Java, J2EE, Spring, Spring Boot, microservices, RESTful APIs, event-driven systems.
. Strong experience in AWS/Azure/GCP cloud platforms.
. Hands-on experience with Docker, Kubernetes, CI/CD pipelines, and DevOps practices.
. Expertise in SQL, NoSQL, Kafka/RabbitMQ, Redis/Hazelcast, OAuth 2.0, JWT, and distributed systems.
. Strong experience in DDD, design patterns, and performance optimization.
Soft Skills
. Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
. Ability to drive technical discussions, mentor teams, and build consensus.
. Strong problem-solving and innovation mindset.
Preferred Qualifications
. Cloud certifications such as AWS Solutions Architect or Azure Architect.
. Experience with API management platforms, service mesh, and observability tools.
. Exposure to AI/ML or data engineering is a plus.
