We are seeking a Senior Team Lead, Operations to join Capital Human Resource Management Pte. Ltd in a full-time capacity, based in the East Region. This is a strategic leadership position within our Operations team, where you will oversee production, planning and scheduling functions to ensure optimal efficiency and operational excellence. As Senior Team Lead, you will play a crucial role in driving operational performance, managing team dynamics, and implementing best practices across our manufacturing and logistics operations. This role is instrumental in achieving our organisational goals and maintaining our competitive edge in the manufacturing, transport and logistics sector.
Key responsibilities
Lead and supervise a team of operations professionals, providing clear direction, mentoring and performance management to ensure high standards of work
Oversee production planning and scheduling activities to maximise efficiency and meet deadlines
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and operational metrics to identify areas for improvement and implement corrective actions
Coordinate with cross-functional teams including production, logistics and planning departments to ensure seamless operations
Develop and maintain standard operating procedures (SOPs) for production and scheduling processes
Manage inventory levels, resource allocation and capacity planning to optimise operational efficiency
Identify and resolve operational bottlenecks and inefficiencies to streamline workflows
Conduct regular team meetings and training sessions to foster professional development and continuous improvement
Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards and company policies across all operations
Prepare reports on operational performance and present findings to senior management
What we're looking for
Minimum 5 years of experience in operations, production planning, scheduling or a related field within manufacturing, transport or logistics sectors
Proven experience as a team leader or supervisor, with the ability to motivate and develop team members
Strong understanding of production planning, scheduling methodologies and supply chain management principles
Excellent knowledge of key performance indicators (KPIs) and experience with operational data analysis
Proficiency with production planning software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems and scheduling tools
Demonstrated ability to implement process improvements and drive operational efficiency initiatives
Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make sound decisions under pressure
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work effectively across all organisational levels
Relevant qualification in operations management, supply chain management or a related discipline (preferred)
Certification in production and inventory management or lean/six sigma methodologies (an advantage)
