Senior Team Lead / Junior Architect

We are actively seeking a highly skilled Senior Team Lead / Junior Architect with deep expertise in SFCC backend development to join our client's dynamic team through Pradeepit Consulting Services. This pivotal role involves defining and implementing best practices for scalable, performant, and secure SFCC solutions, while leading development efforts and guiding a team of developers.

Key Responsibilities

• Architecture & Strategy: Define and implement best practices for SFCC backend development. Design and optimize SFCC architecture, including integrations with third-party services like OMS, PIM, and other enterprise systems. Lead technical discussions, provide architectural recommendations, and ensure alignment with business objectives.
• Development & Implementation: Develop and customize SFCC backend functionality using Node.js, JavaScript, and SFCC APIs. Implement SFCC Jobs, Services, Controllers, Business Manager customizations, and OCAPI/SCAPI integrations. Ensure efficient data modeling, including Catalogs, Price Books, Promotions, and Inventory management. Optimize performance, troubleshoot production issues, and implement monitoring/logging strategies.
• Team Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of SFCC developers, providing technical guidance, code reviews, and ensuring adherence to best practices. Conduct training sessions, and knowledge-sharing initiatives.
• Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including frontend, DevOps, QA, and business stakeholders.
• Integration & API Development: Design and implement robust RESTful APIs, OCAPI, and SCAPI integrations. Work with middleware, ERP, and CRM teams for seamless data flow. Ensure secure and efficient handling of customer, order, and payment data.
• Performance & Security: Implement caching strategies, CDN optimizations, and database tuning for high-performance commerce solutions. Ensure security best practices, including GDPR compliance, PCI DSS standards, and secure authentication mechanisms. Conduct load testing, profiling, and debugging for backend performance optimization.

Skills

• Strong expertise in SFCC backend development.
• Proficiency in Node.js, JavaScript, and SFCC APIs.
• Experience with SFCC Jobs, Services, Controllers, Business Manager customizations, and OCAPI/SCAPI integrations.
• Expertise in SFCC architecture design and optimization.

• Proven capabilities in team leadership and mentorship.
• Strong experience in RESTful API design and implementation.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in a senior SFCC development role or as a junior architect.
