Job Description
We are looking for an experienced Technical Recruiter with strong expertise in Canada-based hiring. The ideal candidate will be responsible for driving end-to-end recruitment across technical and digital roles, ensuring high-quality talent acquisition aligned with client expectations.
Roles & Responsibilities
- Manage end-to-end recruitment for Canada-based roles across technical and digital domains
- Build and maintain a strong pipeline of Canada-based candidates (active and passive talent)
- Collaborate with hiring managers to understand technical requirements and role expectations
- Utilize advanced sourcing techniques including LinkedIn, Boolean search, AI tools, job portals, and communities
- Screen candidates based on technical skills, communication, and cultural fit
- Handle interview coordination, stakeholder communication, salary discussions, and offer closures
- Stay updated on Canadian hiring trends, talent availability, and salary benchmarks (CAD)
- Ensure understanding of basic Canadian employment practices and candidate expectations
- Continuously improve hiring processes, turnaround time, and candidate quality
Required Skills
- 5+ years of experience in IT/Technical Recruitment
- Hands-on experience hiring for the Canada market (preferred)
- Strong expertise in sourcing strategies (Boolean, LinkedIn, AI tools)
- Experience working with ATS platforms and structured hiring processes
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
- Ability to manage multiple roles independently in a fast-paced environment
- Strong negotiation skills with exposure to international candidate handling
- Problem-solving mindset with a high level of ownership
Good to Have
- Experience working with digital agencies or international clients
- Understanding of regional hiring differences within Canada (Ontario, BC, etc.)
- Exposure to North American hiring practices and candidate expectations
