Responsibilities
- Design and implement AWS IAM policies and roles to ensure secure access management
- Develop and maintain automation scripts using Python and Boto3 for cloud operations
- Build serverless workflows leveraging AWS Lambda, EventBridge, and related services
- Automate routine cloud tasks to improve efficiency and reduce manual intervention
- Monitor cloud environments using alerting tools to maintain security and compliance
- Analyze and resolve complex technical challenges related to cloud security and automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to enhance cloud security posture and compliance
- Optimize Python code for debugging and performance improvements
- Coordinate with stakeholders to align cloud security solutions with business requirements
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance standards
Requirements
- Proven experience as a Security Engineer or equivalent role with 5 to 8 years of experience
- Strong hands-on experience with AWS services including IAM, Identity Center, Organizations, Lambda, and EventBridge
- Proficiency in Python programming including debugging, optimization, and software design
- Deep understanding of AWS Boto3 for API interactions and automation
- Familiarity with Python libraries such as requests, boto3, and json
- Expertise in building serverless workflows using AWS services
- Ability to design and implement automation solutions for cloud environments
- Solid knowledge of cloud security best practices and compliance requirements
- Experience with monitoring and alerting tools for cloud infrastructure
- Strong problem-solving skills to analyze and resolve complex technical issues
- English language proficiency at B2 Upper-Intermediate level
