Senior Swift Application Development & Support (Payment Domain)

Role Overview:

Kiya.ai is seeking a Senior Swift Application Development & Support Specialist to join our team. This role requires a professional with extensive experience in the payments domain, particularly with Swift, and a strong background in supporting banking applications. You will be responsible for providing critical technical support, troubleshooting, and ensuring the smooth operation of payment systems, with a focus on interacting with our UK customers.

Key Duties:

  • Troubleshooting technical issues related to Swift-based payment applications.
  • Guiding customers through a series of actions to resolve technical problems.
  • Providing support for application testing and upgrades.
  • Creating and maintaining procedural documentation for support processes.
  • Managing multiple support cases simultaneously, ensuring timely resolution.

Must-Have Skills:

  • In-depth knowledge of Payments (via Swift).
  • Proven experience in supporting Banking Applications, preferably within Capital Markets, Investments, or Funds.
  • Strong database skills.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with UK customers.

Nice-to-Have Skills:

  • Experience in diagnosing and repairing application issues (e.g., server connectivity, server upgrades).
  • Ability to resolve technical infrastructure issues.
  • Familiarity with installing and configuring hardware and software.
  • Prior experience supporting Payments/Swift gateway solutions.
  • Prior experience with IBM MQ and/or Provider.
  • Prior experience with Bottomline GTExchange.
  • Experience supporting Production environments.
  • Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills.
  • Good written and verbal communication.

Additional Requirements:

  • Willingness to carry a work phone at all times.
  • Flexibility to support out-of-hours work from time to time.
  • Certification in Microsoft or Linux is advantageous.
  • Degree in Computer Science or Information Technology is beneficial.
