Job Role: Senior Support Engineer (Python Django, Vue.js, Kafka)
Location: Chennai (Hybrid)
Task Description: We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Support Engineer to join our application support team. The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on expertise in Python Django, Vue.js, Kafka, Apache Camel/Kamel, and PostgreSQL, along with exposure to container-based deployments on OpenShift. Additional working knowledge of FileNet and Oracle will be a strong advantage.
This role involves supporting mission-critical applications, troubleshooting production issues, providing L2/L3 support, and collaborating with cross-functional engineering teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Provide L2/L3 production support for applications built on Python Django, Vue.js, Kafka, Apache Camel/Kamel, and PostgreSQL.
Perform analysis, debugging, and resolution of complex technical issues in a 24/7 production environment (if applicable).
Work closely with development teams to identify root causes and drive permanent fixes.
Monitor application performance, logs, and message flows across Kafka topics, Camel routes, and backend services.
Support deployments and operational activities on OpenShift including pod debugging, log tracing, and service monitoring.
Handle data-related activities involving PostgreSQL and Oracle databases, including writing queries, optimization, and troubleshooting.
