Position Overview
We are seeking a highly skilled Test Automation Engineer with expertise in building and maintaining automated testing frameworks, preferably using Playwright or Selenium, and strong experience in Angular-based applications. The ideal candidate will have a solid background in both automated and manual testing, CI/CD integration, and performance/security testing. This role requires strong programming skills, adherence to best practices, and the ability to collaborate across technical and business teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain automated testing frameworks and reusable components.
- Set up and execute test cases in Azure DevOps (ADO), including integration with pipelines.
- Integration and Regression Testing in memory using containers that can be executed during the build Pipelines.
- Perform manual testing when required and ensure comprehensive coverage.
- Measure and prioritize test coverage for critical areas.
- Implement CI/CD pipeline automation, including build, pre-deploy, and post-deploy testing.
- Produce automated test results and maintain traceability.
- Work with synthetic data for test scenarios.
- Translate business and technical requirements into detailed test cases.
- Maintain code base in adherence to engineering best practices.
- Conduct security testing and performance testing.
- Assist in triaging defects and performing root cause analysis.
- Collaborate with developers, architects, and product owners in an Agile environment.
- Manage code repositories and ensure proper version control.
- Utilize Postman and other API testing tools for backend validation.
- Understand and work within Azure compute environments and services.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- 57 years of experience in test automation and QA engineering.
- Strong experience with:
- Playwright or Selenium (preferred) or similar automation tools.
- Angular (must have).
- Azure DevOps (ADO) for test case management and pipeline integration.
- Proficiency in:
- C#, JavaScript, TypeScript, SQL, and Entity Framework.
- Experience with:
- CI/CD pipelines and automated deployments.
- Security and performance testing.
- Synthetic data generation for testing.
- Ability to build reusable components and maintain scalable test frameworks.
- Familiarity with architecture best practices and Azure services.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with API testing using Postman or similar tools.
- Knowledge of test coverage measurement tools.
- Healthcare industry experience is a plus.
