Role Description

This is a full-time, on-site role based in Kozhikode for a Senior Study Abroad Counselor. The Senior Study Abroad Counselor will guide students through the process of selecting and applying to international universities and programs. Responsibilities include consulting with students to assess their academic and career goals, providing tailored advice, assisting with application preparation, evaluating documents, and supporting scholarship and visa processes. The counselor will also conduct student outreach, workshops, and pre-departure briefings to ensure a seamless transition for students pursuing their international education journey.

Qualifications

• Expertise in student counseling, academic advising, and career guidance
• Knowledge of university application processes, visa requirements, and scholarship opportunities
• Strong communication, interpersonal, and mentoring skills
• Proficiency in organizational and time-management skills
• Ability to conduct research and provide accurate, reliable information to students
• Proficiency in written communication and presentation development
• Familiarity with international education systems and requirements
• A bachelor's degree in a relevant field; a master's degree in education, counseling, or related area is a plus
• Prior experience as a study abroad counselor or in a related role is highly desirable
