We are hiring a highly experienced Senior Structural Engineer with strong UAE project exposure to lead structural design development, manage BIM/Revit modeling, and coordinate multidisciplinary teams to deliver compliant, high-quality structural solutions from concept through approvals and execution.
This is a leadership role requiring both deep technical expertise and full project ownership.
Key Responsibilities
Technical Leadership
- Lead the preparation and review of structural design calculations and detailed engineering drawings.
- Develop, manage, and oversee structural BIM/Revit models.
- Ensure compliance with UAE authority regulations and international design codes and standards.
- Review and approve shop drawings and construction documentation.
Coordination & Team Management
- Coordinate closely with Architecture, MEP, and external consultants to ensure design integration.
- Mentor and guide junior engineers and draftsmen.
- Conduct internal design reviews and resolve complex technical challenges.
- Interface directly with clients, consultants, and key stakeholders.
Approvals & Documentation
- Manage online submissions and authority approvals within the UAE.
- Prepare and review technical documentation including survey data, soil investigation reports, and NOCs.
- Maintain proper drawing controls, revisions, and structured project documentation.
Project Delivery
- Support project planning, scheduling, and milestone tracking.
- Ensure design quality, accuracy, and regulatory compliance.
- Provide technical guidance during site execution and construction stages.
Mandatory Requirements
- 810 years of structural design experience.
- Minimum 35 years of UAE/GCC experience (mandatory).
- Strong proficiency in Revit (mandatory) and AutoCAD.
- Proven experience handling UAE authority submissions and approvals.
- Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering.
- Working knowledge of MS Office and MS Project.
