- Plan, document, design, and execute test covering manual and automated tests of platform and storage systems.
- Coordinate with team and execute test cases regarding functional correctness, load, stress and stability tests.
- Work with developers to analyze test coverage, gaps, failures, and isolate root cause.
- Plan, coordinate, and configure enterprise class storage networking infrastructure.
- Develop and enhance automation tools to improve QA processes and test coverage.
- Reviews and evaluates designs and project activities for compliance with quality assurance guidelines and standards; provides tangible feedback to improve product quality and mitigate failure risk.
- Provides domain-specific expertise and overall software quality assurance leadership and perspective to cross-organization projects, programs, and activities.
- Provides guidance and mentoring to less- experienced staff members.
- Senior level networkand system expert todefine and leadqualification ofEnterprise storage product efforts.
- Work often involves cross organizational interactions: Hardware, Firmware, System management, Network teams, Architects, other organizations, etc
- Maintains documentation of test results to assist in debugging and modification of software.
- Analyzes test results to ensure existing functionality and recommends corrective action.
Education and Experience Required:
- Bachelors or Masters degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or equivalent.
- Typically 8+ years of total experience.
What you need to bring:
- Must have in-depth knowledge ofOS internals, networking, andstorage concepts.
- Prior experienceof bringing upa Hardware platform is highlyvalued
- Prior experience using software quality assurance tools and processes.
- Prior experience in software testing methodology, including execution of test plans, debugging, and testing scripts and tools.
- Understanding of design for software and firmware running on multiple platform types
- Solid experience with firmware (BIOS, BMC, HBA) testing
- Working experience with PCIe, RDMA and NVMe/NVMe-oF interfaces for platform based products
- Comfortable working in Linux, Windows, and VMware environments.
- Must have strong working knowledge of Shell, Python for large enterprise class software
- Strong analyticaland problem-solving skills.
