Minimum qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development.
- 7 years of experience with full stack development, across back-end such as Java, Python, GO, or C++ codebases, and front-end experience including JavaScript or TypeScript, HTML, CSS or equivalent.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
Preferred qualifications:
- 10 years of experience with software development in one or more programming languages.
- Experience mentoring senior engineers and tech leads.
- Experience working in a product environment.
- Passion for using AI coding tools/agents to improve developer productivity.

Responsibilities
- Build scalable and flexible infrastructure to power personalization and compel user experiences that drive core business metrics.
- Lead the architectural evolution of Google One, balance high-impact iteration with long-term stability and cost-efficiency, define the strategy and roadmap for client solutions across the team.
- Drive Google One growth by architecting a platform that enables high-velocity experimentation, reducing the time to test new SKUs, pricing, and entitlements from weeks to days.
- Collaborate and mentor existing engineers in the organization to manage problems.
- Align first-party and third-party teams to ensure technical work supports the organization's priorities.
