As a member of our SW development team, you will be working on prototyping solutions to make our customer's user experience as smooth as possible, as well as on embedded SW innovation projects in close collaboration with partners.
Your Role
Key responsibilities in your new role
- Enable Infineon MCU portfolios for fast prototyping ecosystem like Arduino, MicroPython, etc.
- Develop and test embedded SW libraries mainly for actuators and sensors for Infineon MCU hardware platforms, following Agile best practices
- Be the driver for embedded software development in close collaboration with partners and provide technical guidance to team members
- Drive proactively the improvement of the overall Infineon fast prototyping ecosystems towards ease of use
- Represent Infineon on events like trade fairs and university fairs
- Alignment with internal and external stakeholders and supervise interns and external employees to develop your leadership skills
Your Profile
Qualifications And Skills To Help You Succeed
- A university master's degree in electrical engineering, computer science or a comparable
- At least 8+ years of professional experience within embedded SW development, preferred in the semiconductor industry and with technical leadership experience
- Professional experience in embedded SW design and development with C/C++, Python, and GNU ARM Toolchain
- Very good experience with embedded system development flow, tools and architecture (Git (GitHub/GitLab/Bitbucket), Make, testing, Hardware-in-the-Loop, etc.)
- Very good experience with commonly used microcontroller platforms(ARM), communication protocol such as UART, I2C, SPI, and IoT connectivity protocols such as Wi-Fi and Bluetooth, knowledge of MQTT/HTTP is a plus
- Experience with prototyping ecosystems like Arduino, Raspberry Pi or ROS is a plus
- The ability to work with cross-function teams, stakeholders and partners.
- Excellent English skills and very good analytical, problem-solving, and communications skills
