Provide strategic and technical direction to the entire Security Foundations domain across the Hyderabad site. Security Foundations organization in Hyderabad boasts a comprehensive ecosystem, comprising over 120 Software Engineers, Security Engineers, Security Analysts, Product and Program Managers.
Provide leadership and oversight of all the engineering efforts. Separately run thus strong local leadership is essential to accomplish this.
Work with cross-functional leaders in the organization to ensure the right solution is designed, built and delivered.
Lead the execution against strategy for some critical projects and areas, partnering with the relevant engineering and cross-functional directors.
Set local engineering culture for 100+ engineers (e.g., lead design reviews for the local site) while ensuring good collaboration across sites.
Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
5 years of experience with design and architecture; and testing/launching software products.
Experience in developing security or privacy products.
Preferred qualifications:
Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
3 years of experience working in an organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
Experience with multiple programming languages (e.g., Java, Python, Go, etc.) and with front-end related languages (e.g., Angular, TypeScript, or JavaScript).
Experience in storage services (e.g., Spanner, MySQL, NoSQL systems).
Experience in technical leadership of software groups.
