About the Job: Software Engineering Manager, Google Ads
- As a Software Engineering Manager at Google Ads, you will manage a team focused on advertising platforms and account management. You will guide both product and technical aspects of development, spanning innovation, requirements gathering, design, implementation, and launch. Your responsibilities will include solving large-scale, cross-product challenges while working with executives and engineers from multiple Ads teams. You will play a key role in overseeing technical decision-making, guiding area leads, maintaining high standards for technical excellence, and integrating advanced technologies into the tech stack.
Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.
- 8 years of experience in software development, and with data structures/algorithms.
- 5 years of experience with design and architecture, and testing/launching software products.
Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.
- 5 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.
- 3 years of experience in a matrixed organization involving cross-functional or cross-business projects.
