Job Description:

We are seeking a motivated and skilled Sr SQL Developer to join our dynamic team. As a Sr SQL Developer, you will play a crucial role in designing and developing database solutions using tables, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes. You will be responsible for various tasks including data transfer from the development environment to production and other related environments, schema comparison, bulk operations, and server-side coding.

Designation: SQL/SSIS Developer

Experience: 5+ years

Location and Work Type: Bangalore (Hybrid)

Shift Timings: 5pm IST to 2am IST

Must have skills:SQL Server Development, SSIS, TSQL, Performance Tuning, Production Support, any experience on Azure would be a plus.

Responsibilities:

• Design and develop efficient and scalable database solutions using tables, stored procedures, functions, views, and indexes.
• Transfer data from the development environment to production and other related environments.
• Perform a schema comparison to ensure data consistency and integrity.
• Execute bulk operations to optimize data processing.
• Implement server-side coding for effective data manipulation and retrieval.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of normalization, denormalization, primary keys, foreign keys, constraints, transactions, ACID principles, indexes as optimization tools, and views.
• Collaborate with the Database Administration team to create physical tables from logical models.
• Design and implement data migration packages using SSIS, ensuring efficient read and write operations from folders.
• Execute ETL processes and data migration using CSV, Excel, and TXT files.
• Generate ad hoc reports based on business requirements.
• Possess a good knowledge of SQL Server 2014 and above.
• Experience with cloud-based deployment and management of SQL Server.
• Experience with SSIS , VS and SSRS for efficient data integration and reporting.
• Familiarity with BULK copy tools such as BCP, DTS, etc.
• Proficient in DML (Data Manipulation Language), DDL (Data Definition Language), ETL processes, table-level backups, and system objects.
• Excel proficiency for data pivoting and analysis.

Shift Timings:

• The shift is for a US project in the US Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.
• The working hours are from 5 PM to 2 AM Indian Standard Time (IST).
• This position follows a 5-day working schedule.
