We are seeking a Senior SQL Architect to lead the architecture, design, and implementation of scalable and robust database solutions using Microsoft SQL Server. This role requires a strategic thinker with deep technical expertise, capable of collaborating effectively across multiple teams and departments.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design and architect scalable, high-performance SQL Server database systems.
- Lead data modeling, database design, and ETL process development.
- Collaborate closely with development teams to ensure seamless database integration.
- Maintain and enforce database standards, best practices, and comprehensive technical documentation.
- Troubleshoot complex database issues and optimize system performance.
- Implement strong security and compliance frameworks for database environments.
- Mentor and guide junior database professionals to enhance team capabilities.
Mandatory Technical Skills:
- 10+ years of hands-on experience with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Expertise in advanced T-SQL programming, data modeling, and performance tuning.
- Proven experience with high availability technologies: Clustering, Mirroring, Always-On.
- Hands-on experience with ETL tools such as SSIS, Azure Data Factory, or equivalents.
- Familiarity with cloud database services like Azure SQL and AWS RDS.
- Strong knowledge of database security, Business Intelligence (BI), and Data Warehousing (DW) concepts.
