Job Description
As a Senior Specialist, you will play a crucial role in driving the success of our SAP Planning - Delivery department. Your primary focus will be on optimizing demand forecasting and planning processes using SAP APO. You will collaborate closely with business stakeholders to understand their needs and deliver tailored demand planning solutions. Your expertise will be instrumental in configuring and implementing SAP APO modules, ensuring efficient and effective demand planning processes across the organization.
Responsibilities
- Lead and mentor a team of SAP APO consultants, providing guidance and support.
- Analyze business requirements and design SAP APO solutions to meet those needs.
- Configure and implement SAP APO Demand Planning modules, including DP, SNP, and SNP-DP integration.
- Develop and execute test plans to ensure the quality and accuracy of SAP APO implementations.
- Provide post-implementation support and troubleshooting for SAP APO-related issues.
- Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather feedback and continuously improve demand planning processes.
- Stay updated with the latest SAP APO releases and best practices, ensuring our systems are up-to-date.
- Document and maintain comprehensive knowledge of SAP APO configurations and processes.
- Ensure data integrity and security within the SAP APO environment.
- Act as a subject matter expert, providing training and knowledge transfer to team members.
Qualifications
- A minimum of 8 years of experience in SAP APO Demand Planning consulting and implementation.
- Proven track record in leading and delivering successful SAP APO DP projects.
- In-depth knowledge of SAP APO modules, including DP, SNP, and SNP-DP integration.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex issues.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a customer-centric approach.
- Experience in mentoring and guiding junior team members.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Proficiency in SAP ABAP and SAP Basis is an added advantage.
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Certifications in SAP APO or relevant SAP modules are highly preferred.
