Role Overview
The PMO Change Request Board & Work Intake Analyst will play a critical role in supporting the review and approval of change requests and work intake requests (demand management) for the Human Health (HH) and Animal Health (AH) SAP instances and associated boundary / connected systems. They will be a part of the centralized S/4HANA Change Request Board, supporting the Change Request and Work Intake processes, specifically facilitating capture of change requests, ensuring completion of accurate and thorough change impact assessments.
This role involves establishing and maintaining change request processes, governance, and frameworks. They will also support the HH and AH projects to ensure capture of and visibility to business demands, supporting the team with effort estimates to ensure volume and effort of changes is accurately reflected. This will ensure program visibility to business priorities and support the program in planning to minimize disruption to the S/4HANA program.
This role will provide leadership visibility to Business as Usual (BAU) demands and interdependent projects, and supporting prioritization based on business needs. This will entail bridging disparate HH and AH work intake processes, governance, and frameworks to centralize necessary data. The analyst will work closely with the Change Request Board to ensure proper visibility and coordination of resources across critical programs, aligning with overall program strategy.
What Will You Do In This Role
- Establish and maintain change request processes, governance, and prioritization frameworks for SAP S/4HANA migration.
- Provide leadership visibility to BAU demand, trends and prioritization efforts as well as interdependent projects to ensure alignment with program objectives.
- Support leadership with Change Requests requiring executive review and approval
- Collaborate with the Change Board to ensure proper visibility and coordination of critical concurrent programs.
- Assess and manage work intake requests arising from boundary and connected systems that may impact the S/4HANA program scope, timeline or resource planning.
- Ensure the dependencies are captured in the governance process and reflected in the prioritization decisions.
- Prepare and maintain change request and work intake dashboards and reports for leadership review.
- Ensure traceability and transparency of work intake requests and prioritization decisions.
- Identify risks and dependencies related to change management and work intake, escalating as needed.
- Contribute to continuous improvement of change request and work intake governance processes.
What Should You Have
- 5+ years of experience in PMO, Change Request management and work intake governance within large ERP or transformation programs.
- Understanding of SAP ECC and/or S/4HANA.
- Excellent organizational, analytical, and documentation skills.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities.
- Familiarity with governance tools (e.g., ServiceNow, Jira) and reporting dashboards.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and interdependencies in a fast-paced environment.
Preferred Qualifications
- Certification in ITIL, Change Management, or related governance frameworks.
- Experience in life sciences or regulated industries.
- Exposure to program management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall).
- Knowledge of portfolio management and demand forecasting principles.
