Position Summary

Senior Specialist, Project Accounting Reporting & Analysis (PARA) will support in the Project accounting activities, including budgeting, forecasting, variance analysis, and financial performance monitoring. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, deep attention to detail, and the ability to interpret complex financial data to support business decisions.


Duties And Responsibilities

  • Support the financial planning cycle including annual budgeting and monthly/quarterly forecasting.
  • Assist in conducting variance analysis and summarize key business drivers impacting performance.
  • Compile data for accurate month end closing
  • Validation of schedules for Revenue booking as per company policies
  • Recording journal entries of cost/revenue in the system
  • Preparation of Balance Sheet Reconciliations
  • Prepare schedule to perform FLUX analysis
  • Assist internal and external audit and regulatory reporting / compliance
  • Contribute to automation of process and support the team as required
  • Help drive implementation of financial standards in the organization
  • Preparation of Journal entries and lead the Month-End Close Process
  • Any other tasks as required to be performed by Management

Qualifications

REQUIRED

  • Professional/Master's degree in accounting or finance or equivalent experience
  • 5+ years of relevant experience in FP&A or related finance roles.
  • Working knowledge of cost accounting principles and the provisions of the Sarbanes-Oxley Act
  • Familiarity with reporting under ASC/GAAP guidelines
  • Good understanding of Finance modeling concepts
  • Working in shifts to support business requirements.

DESIRED

  • Working knowledge of ERP system
  • International experience is a plus

Knowledge, Skills, Abilities, and Other Characteristics

  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.A collaborative working style and ability to work across multiple geographies and with a distributed workforce
  • Detail oriented
  • Hands-on experience in Power BI and Tableau for reporting and data visualization.
  • Exceptional attention to detail with the ability to deep dive into financial data.
