Job Title: Senior Specialist-Marketing Procurement

Department/Function: Corporate Real Estate & Services

Job Purpose

The Senior Specialist - Marketing Procurement will be based in Mumbai and will be responsible for the procurement of all marketing products and services for the bank. This role is crucial in ensuring cost efficiency and smooth day-to-day operations, contributing significantly to the overall efficiency and cost-effectiveness of the bank.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Develop inventive and cost-effective marketing procurement strategies.
  • Source and engage reliable suppliers and vendors.
  • Manage sourcing activities including RFQ, RFP, and RFI processes, and conduct quotation analysis and negotiations.
  • Act as a liaison between service providers (vendors) and business teams.
  • Lead the vendor management program to ensure smooth governance and high operational efficiency.
  • Issue purchase orders post-acceptance by the business team.
  • Engage early with all levels of management to determine needs, develop strategies, and provide procurement sources.
  • Lead requisitioning and vendor pay-outs for the Enterprise Services Group (ESG).
  • Ensure compliance with all establishment-related regulations.
  • Analyze data to anticipate unfavorable events and prepare control strategies.
  • Prepare procurement reports for senior management.
  • Perform risk assessments on potential contracts and agreements.
  • Capture and share best practices within the team.
  • Create a collaborative learning environment and promote collective ownership of responsibilities.
  • Develop savings plans for identified projects and collaborate with expense line owners to explore savings opportunities.
  • Stay updated with marketing procurement management and global procurement benchmarks to implement best practices.
  • Collaborate with business and support units to provide necessary materials and services for daily operations.

Secondary Responsibilities

  • Monitor key parameters such as productivity, hiring quality, and costs using relevant scorecards.
  • Attract and retain top talent for key roles within the reporting structure.
  • Ensure adherence to established benchmarks and processes for finalizing commercials and other key parameters.

Educational Qualifications

Graduation: Bachelor of Commerce (B.com) / Bachelor of Science (B.Sc) / Bachelor of Arts (BA) / Bachelor of Business & Insurance (BBI) / Bachelor of Management Studies (BMS)

Post-Graduation: Master of Business Administration (MBA) / Master of Commerce (M.com) / Master of Arts (MA)

Experience: 4 - 6 years of relevant experience
