Job Description
We are looking for a talented and experienced SAP Technical Lead to join our Smart Integration team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in designing and implementing SAP integrations, leveraging their deep knowledge of ABAP and ABAP on HANA technologies. This role requires a strong understanding of hybrid integration landscapes and the ability to collaborate with functional teams to deliver scalable solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead architecture and design of SAP integration solutions, ensuring alignment with business needs.
- Provide technical leadership and expertise in ABAP and ABAP on HANA, including CDS Views, AMDP, and OData.
- Drive end-to-end integration strategy, covering PI/PO, CPI, SAP Integration Suite, and API Management.
- Collaborate with functional teams across O2C, R2R, P2P, MM, and SD to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
- Support build and extension frameworks using RAP/CAP and SAP BTP services, ensuring seamless integration.
- Guide CI/CD pipeline execution and promote DevOps practices for efficient SAP development.
- Assist with system upgrades and cutovers, utilizing tools like SPAU, SPDD, SUM/DMO, and Migration Cockpit.
- Lead and mentor development teams, reviewing architecture and maintaining technical standards.
- Work across diverse deployment environments, including Public, Private, and On-Premise clouds.
Qualifications
- Strong hands-on experience with ABAP and ABAP on HANA is mandatory.
- Proven expertise in SAP Integration Suite, PI/PO, CPI, and API Management is essential.
- Working knowledge of SAP JCo and RFC/ALE integration patterns is required.
- Deep understanding of hybrid integration landscapes, including Public Cloud, Private Cloud, and On-Premise environments.
- Functional process understanding across O2C, R2R, and P2P modules is preferred.
- Experience with SAP BTP, especially in integration and extensibility, is an asset.
- Familiarity with tools like SPAU, SPDD, SUM/DMO, and Migration Cockpit is advantageous.
- Knowledge of RISE with SAP transformations is desirable.
- Excellent leadership, collaboration, and problem-solving skills are essential for this role.
