Role: Senior Specialist –Campaigns

About the Role
We're looking for a Campaign Specialist who combines hands-on email campaign execution with a sharp analytical mindset. This role goes well beyond sending emails, you will own the end-to-end lifecycle of email campaigns across multiple business units, analyze performance data to surface actionable insights, and continuously raise the bar on engagement metrics. You will be the go-to expert on email marketing best practices within the team and will play a pivotal role in shaping how the marketing organization communicates with its audience.
Key Responsibilities
Email Campaign Execution & Management
- Plan, build, test, and deploy email campaigns end-to-end using HubSpot (workflows, sequences, templates, smart content, A/B tests).
- Manage email lists, segmentation, suppression rules, and ensure data hygiene across all business units.
- Coordinate with stakeholders across BUs to understand campaign objectives, timelines, and target audiences.
- Ensure all campaigns comply with CAN-SPAM, GDPR, and other applicable regulations.
Analytics & Performance Optimization
- Track and analyze BU-wise email campaign performance — open rates, click-through rates, bounce rates, unsubscribe rates, and conversion metrics.
- Identify trends, patterns, and areas of improvement across campaigns; proactively advise the marketing team on how to improve engagement.
- Conduct A/B and multivariate tests on subject lines, send times, content formats, and CTAs; document findings and recommend best practices.
- Benchmark performance against industry standards and internal historical data.
Reporting & Insights
- Publish a comprehensive weekly email performance report covering all business units with clear commentary and actionable recommendations.
- Build and maintain HubSpot dashboards that give stakeholders real-time visibility into campaign health.
- Present insights and strategic recommendations to the marketing team and business unit leaders on a regular cadence.
Best Practices & Continuous Improvement
- Serve as the internal subject-matter expert on email marketing best practices, including deliverability, personalization, accessibility, and responsive design.
- Stay current with email marketing trends, HubSpot product updates, and emerging tools or techniques.
- Document and maintain a playbook of email campaign standards, templates, and processes for the team.
Required Skills & Experience
- 3+ years of hands-on experience executing email marketing campaigns at scale.
- Proficient in HubSpot Marketing Hub — comfortable building workflows, managing lists, creating templates, and configuring campaign properties.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret campaign data, identify trends, and translate findings into clear recommendations.
- Experience creating recurring performance reports and dashboards for multiple stakeholders or business units.
- Solid understanding of email deliverability, sender reputation, authentication (SPF, DKIM, DMARC), and list hygiene.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills; ability to present data-driven insights to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- HubSpot Marketing Software Certification (strong plus).
- Experience with HubSpot CRM integration and understanding of the lead lifecycle.
- Exposure to marketing automation platforms beyond HubSpot (e.g., Marketo, Pardot, Mailchimp).
