Senior Specialist - Solution Engineering - Payments (Techno Functional)

Role purpose
As a Senior Specialist, you are responsible to lead projects from requirements, solutioning, agile development support to Training, user acceptance and go-live support for all activities of the project and product involved. You work at the Project Level and collaborate with Project Managers, Product Owners, Technology teams, Business Owners, and Customers to deliver value-based implementation
Duties And Responsibilities
- Define and maintain the schedule, phase and efforts of the project
- Collaborate with Business Owners and Customers to understand implementation needs of the project and define BRD, Desing functional and technical solutions, User stories, Epics, Features, and Business Value of the changes or activities of the project
- Data analysis through User interface and technical analysis at back-end with PL/SQL, Java, C, C++, Unix, shell scripting, and RDBMS for Oracle or any similar DB with other skill sets like debug, Log analysis
- Prioritize Features using SAFe prioritization techniques
- Participating in Program Increment (PI) Planning, presenting vision and backlog to the Agile Development Teams.
- Collaborating with Architects, Development, and System Teams to ensure technical feasibility and architectural alignment
- Work closely with Product Owners or solution architects to decompose Features into actionable Stories
- Engage with customers and internal stakeholders to gather feedback for continuous product improvement
- Define and track KPIs and Business Case outcomes
- Present release and progress to key stakeholders to ensure transparency and alignment
- Participate in RFP responses and contribute to building a compelling, winnable bid
- Assist Go to Market & Marketing teams to position the product effectively in the industry
Knowledge, Experience & Skills
- Deep understanding of SAFe principles
- Strong market orientation and customer focus
- Ability to prioritize for maximum economic benefit
- Experience with requirement gathering agile scrum or waterfall development life cycle, budgeting, and project lifecycle management
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills across teams and leadership
- Familiarity with tools/languages/applications like Pl/SQL, Oracle DB and RDBMS, JAVA, C, C++, BI, Unix, Aha, Jira, Confluence, or similar Agile/SAFe tools. Also well versed with various Testing tools Selenium, Katalon, API testing like Postman, Soap UI etc
- Experience in platform/API solutions, interface requirements along with business user interface requirements.
- Strong understanding of the airline domain and industry-specific workflows
- Strong understanding of Credit card billing industry and Customer specific Payment Authorization Gateway OR Payment Settlement process
