Role Overview

We are seeking an experienced and commercially strong Senior Sourcing Analyst Indirect Sourcing to lead and support sourcing activities across India and global markets , with a primary focus on IT Software, Marketing, and Professional Services categories . This role requires deep expertise in end-to-end indirect procurement , supplier negotiations, contract support, and stakeholder management across complex, high-value spend areas.

The ideal candidate will bring strong commercial judgment, hands-on experience managing RFx processes, and the ability to partner closely with business stakeholders to deliver cost optimization, risk mitigation, and value creation. This position plays a key role in driving sourcing excellence, supplier performance, and consistency across indirect spend categories and regions.

Key Responsibilities

Indirect & Category-Focused Sourcing

  • Lead and execute indirect sourcing initiatives across India and global markets, with primary focus on:
    • IT Software & SaaS
    • Marketing (digital, creative, media, agencies)
    • Professional Services (consulting, advisory, legal, audit, etc.)
  • Develop and execute sourcing strategies aligned to category needs, business priorities, and regional market dynamics.
  • Conduct market intelligence, supplier assessments, benchmarking, and cost analysis to inform sourcing decisions.
  • Independently manage end-to-end RFx processes (RFI/RFP/RFQ), including requirements scoping, supplier shortlisting, evaluation, negotiations, and award recommendations.
  • Partner with category managers and global procurement teams to support long-term category strategy development and demand management.
  • Identify and drive cost optimization, supplier rationalization, and value-creation opportunities across indirect spend.
Supplier & Commercial Management

  • Lead commercial negotiations, pricing discussions, and contract support for indirect categories.
  • Manage supplier performance through SLAs, KPIs, compliance checks, and risk assessments.
  • Support supplier onboarding, due diligence, renewals, and ongoing relationship management.
  • Collaborate with Legal, Finance, IT, and Risk teams to ensure contractual and compliance alignment.

Operational Execution & Stakeholder Engagement

  • Manage day-to-day sourcing and procurement activities, ensuring timely execution and high service levels.
  • Act as a trusted procurement partner to business stakeholders across functions and geographies.
  • Ensure sourcing activities comply with procurement policies, governance standards, and regional requirements.
  • Support global sourcing initiatives and work effectively across time zones.

Data, Analytics & Insights

  • Analyze indirect spend data , supplier performance metrics, and category insights to identify savings and efficiency opportunities.
  • Prepare sourcing dashboards, reports, and business cases; advanced Excel skills are required .
  • Leverage data to provide fact-based, commercially sound recommendations to stakeholders and leadership.
  • Experience with Power BI or Tableau is a plus.

TO EXCEL IN THIS ROLE, YOU WILL NEED TO HAVE

  • 58 years of experience in sourcing/procurement, with strong focus on indirect categories , particularly IT Software, Marketing, and Professional Services .
  • Proven ability to independently manage complex sourcing projects, RFx events, and negotiations.
  • Strong understanding of indirect procurement frameworks, contracting principles, compliance, and vendor risk management.
  • Demonstrated commercial acumen with strong negotiation and cost optimization capabilities.
  • Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills across regions and seniority levels.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain, Procurement, Economics, or a related field.
  • Advanced Excel proficiency ; experience with BI/reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau) preferred.
  • Experience with procurement platforms such as Ariba, Coupa, or similar tools is an advantage.
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable operating in a fast-paced, global environment.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively with virtual and cross-functional global teams.
