About the role

At Altellect, the Senior Solutions Architect sits at the intersection of technology, product strategy, and venture creation. This role is responsible for designing high-level system architectures, translating business requirements into scalable solutions, and ensuring seamless integration across internal platforms and new venture builds.

A successful Senior Solution Architectat Altellect:

1. Moves fluidly between strategy and execution

2. Is comfortable advising founders as well as engineering teams

3. Can architect multi-tenant, modular, and scalable systems for 10+ ventures

4. Understands speed-to-market needs while planning for long-term extensibility

5. This role directly shapes the technology DNA of every venture in the Altellect ecosystem.

JD & Key Responsibilities

A. Architecture Design & Technical Strategy

1. Architect end-to-end systems for multiple B2B and B2C ventures simultaneously.

2. Define high-level designs, APIs, microservices, integrations, data flows, and infrastructure requirements.

3. Choose the right technology stacks per venture based on speed, scalability, cost, and long-term relevance.

4. Build reusable architecture components that can be leveraged across ventures.

B. Venture Discovery & Technical Scoping

1. Participate in venture validation and discovery phases.

2. Conduct feasibility studies and define technical requirements for new venture ideas.

3. Translate business models into technical execution plans.

C. Cross-Functional Collaboration

1. Work closely with product, engineering leads, design, data, and operations teams.

2. Translate business goals into architectural decisions.

3. Evaluate trade-offs and make recommendations aligned with venture timelines and GTM strategies.

D. Execution Oversight & Quality Assurance

1. Review technical designs, PRDs, SRS, and engineering plans.

2. Ensure architecture compliance and alignment across all engineering teams.

3. Conduct regular code reviews for critical modules.

4. Oversee API contracts, integration patterns, performance benchmarks, and engineering quality.

E. Technical Advisory & Leadership

1. Mentor engineering leads and developers.

2. Establish architectural best practices, coding standards, and documentation guidelines.

3. Support due diligence for partnerships, integrations, and third-party tools.

Experience / Background

1. 1012+ yrs software dev & architecture

2. 5+ years solution architecture leadership

3. Expertise in cloudnative, distributed systems & design patterns

4. Skilled at articulating architectural vision to business & engineering leaders

5. Proven success in highgrowth, multiproduct environments

Expected Tech stack expertise:

Must have:

1. Cloud: AWS / Azure (compute, storage, networking, security, DevOps)

2. AI SDLC: Agentic workflows, AIassisted coding, automationled development

3. AI & LLMs: LLMs, RAG pipelines, vector DBs, AI tooling

4. Architecture: DDD, eventdriven, microservices, composable patterns

5. Backend: Node.js, Python, JS

6. DevOps: CI/CD, infra automation, observability tools

7. Integration: REST APIs, Kafka/MQTT/pubsub, event streaming

8. Database architect

Good to have:

1. React.js or frontend architecture exposure.

2. Experience with security frameworks and zero-trust approaches.

3. Knowledge of container orchestration (Kubernetes), IaC tools (Terraform, ARM templates).

4. Experience with serverless architectures and API gateways.

5. Exposure to data engineering pipelines and analytics platforms.

6. Experience in multi-cloud or hybrid cloud environments.
