Job Summary:
We are looking for a skilled Python Developer with hands-on experience in the Telecom domain. The ideal candidate should possess strong programming skills, domain knowledge of telecom networks/protocols, and the ability to develop scalable, robust software solutions.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain scripts using Python.
- Collaborate with telecom engineers and system architects to translate telecom use cases into software solutions.
- Participate in code reviews, testing, and documentation activities.
- Troubleshoot and resolve issues in production and development environments.
- Communicating well with multi-cultural and geographically dispersed teams to ensure that the project goals are being reached
- Control and manage the platform & lab requirements, configuration and results. Install and configure the network elements for development and testing purposes in lab environment
- Ability to understand customer perspective and end-use-cases to define product behavior
- Strong in design and technical documentation.
Required Skills & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, Telecommunications, or related field.
- 6+ years of hands-on experience in Python development.
- Solid understanding of telecom networks, protocols, and architecture.
- Experience with IMS networks.
- Experience with telecom systems or network integration projects.
- Proficiency with data structures, and JSON/XML processing.
- Experience with version control tools Gerrit and testing frameworks.
- Familiarity with databases (SQL and/or NoSQL) and Linux-based environments.
- Familiarity with tools like Wireshark
Preferred Skills
- Experience with telecom products.
- Exposure to SDL
- Knowledge in Agile/ JIRA
