About the Role

We are looking for an experienced and highly skilled Senior Solar Design Engineer with 810+ years of hands-on experience in the solar industry. The ideal candidate should have strong expertise in designing utility-scale, commercial, and industrial solar PV systems and must currently be based in India.

This is a critical technical role requiring deep knowledge of solar project design, engineering standards, and execution support.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and engineering of ground-mounted and rooftop solar PV systems (MW-scale preferred).

• Preparation of detailed engineering drawings including SLDs, layout drawings, cable routing, earthing layouts, and structural drawings.

• Conduct site feasibility analysis and energy yield estimation using tools such as PVSyst.

• Perform DC & AC system sizing, inverter selection, string design, and cable sizing calculations.

• Coordinate with EPC, procurement, and project teams for design approvals and execution.

• Ensure compliance with Indian electrical standards, DISCOM regulations, and safety norms.

• Review and optimize system performance and cost efficiency.

• Provide technical support during installation and commissioning phases.

  
  

Required Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Electrical / Mechanical Engineering.

• 810+ years of proven experience in solar PV design (utility-scale preferred).

• Strong proficiency in AutoCAD, PVSyst, Helioscope or similar design software.

• In-depth knowledge of Indian grid standards and MNRE guidelines.

• Experience in handling large-scale projects across India.

• Strong analytical, problem-solving, and project coordination skills.
