Key Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality manual testing for web applications and enterprise platforms, including functional, exploratory, regression, and smoke testing.
- Review requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria to ensure complete test coverage and identify potential gaps early in the development cycle.
- Design, execute, and maintain detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test documentation following structured QA processes.
- Reproduce, analyze, and document defects with clarity, collaborating closely with developers and product teams for timely resolution.
- Support test planning and test management activities using Jira Xray and maintain testing traceability across sprints and releases.
- Contribute to automation efforts using Playwright, Cypress, or Selenium WebDriver, assisting in building automated test suites for regression and functional validation.
- Work with service management platforms such as ServiceNow for issue tracking, incident reporting, and workflow coordination.
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional, agile teams to ensure product quality, smooth sprint delivery, and continuous improvement.
- Participate in daily standups, sprint planning, retrospectives, and quality-focused discussions with stakeholders.
- Ensure compatibility testing across multiple operating systems, including Windows, Android, iOS, and macOS.
- Maintain strong documentation practices for test results, defect logs, reports, and knowledge-base artifacts.
- Explore and adopt new testing technologies, including AI-driven test automation tools, to enhance QA efficiency and effectiveness.
- Use Atlassian Suite (Jira, Confluence), Microsoft 365, and basic version control tools (Git/Azure DevOps) to support collaboration and execution of automated tests.
