Shell Recharge Solutions is seeking a Senior Software Test Engineer!

What you'll do:

Establish performance benchmark and optimize application performance for Cloud applications.

Own performance engineering tasks and deliver while mentoring and helping team members.

Integrate performance testing with continuous Integration process

Collaborate with cross functional teams to identify and diagnose bugs and formulate solutions and validate application stability and performance meets expectations

Develop and execute maintainable automation performance suites.

Draft test plans and scripts for break/fixes and new development changes

Execute test scripts and document results

Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science/Engineering or equivalent experience.
• 58 years of relevant experience in software testing, with strong focus on Test Automation.

Must Have

• Strong hands-on experience in Automation Testing using Java and Selenium (framework development, maintenance, CI integration).
• Solid understanding of automation design principles, including page object model, reusable libraries, and test data management.
• Experience in testing API-based applications (e.g., RestAssured, Postman, SOAPUI).
• Strong verbal and written communication skills; proven ability to collaborate across teams, influence stakeholders, and deliver results in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.

Good to Have

• Leverage AI-first testing approaches to reduce reliance on manual test scripts.
• Improve test execution within CI/CD pipelines (Jenkins, containers, cloud) for enhanced speed and scalability.
• Apply AI/GenAI tools (e.g., Copilot) to accelerate automation and deliver rapid results
• Intermediate knowledge of SQL (joins, data models, transactional flows).
• Cloud experiencepreferably AWS.
• Experience with GitHub/Bitbucket, Jira, Scrum, SonarCloud, and CI/CD pipelines.
