Senior Software Test Engineer

Role Overview:

We are seeking a Senior Automation & Performance Tester who is hands-on with coding and can lead end-to-end automation for API, UI & integration layers, while also driving performance testing and CI/CD-based quality acceleration.

Key Responsibilities:

Design & maintain automation frameworks for API, UI, Integration & E2E testing

(Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Mocha)

Build containerized automation suites using Docker and integrate with CI/CD pipelines

Architect & execute performance, load, stress & scalability tests (Locust, JMeter)

Build test-data generation pipelines to mimic real-world usage patterns

Implement AI-assisted automation self-healing tests, auto-test generation, smart failure analysis

Work closely with engineering, DevOps & product teams; drive automation adoption & quality metrics

Mentor QA team members, help define standards & improve release readiness

Required Skills:

Strong programming in TypeScript + Node.js

Automation expertise with Playwright, Cypress, Jest, Mocha

Experience testing REST APIs & microservice-based platforms

Strong performance testing knowledge Locust or JMeter

Experience using Docker + CI tools (GitHub Actions, Harness)

Excellent debugging, scripting, communication & Agile collaboration skills

Good-to-Have:

Experience building internal test accelerators / reusable automation utilities

Familiarity with AI-driven testing / LLM prompt engineering

Observability tools Datadog, Sentry
