Job Title: QA Automation Engineer Solutions Verification

Role Summary We are seeking a QA Automation Engineer to perform manual, automated, protocol, and performance testing for enterprise unified communications and contact center solutions. The role emphasizes validating scalability, reliability, protocol compliance, and overall system qualityideally with experience in Avaya Unified Communications/Contact Center environments, though strong expertise in comparable VoIP/UC platforms is highly valued.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct end-to-end solution testing across core communication components (preferred hands-on experience with Avaya Aura elements such as Communication Manager, Session Manager, System Manager, Breeze, Media Server, Avaya Experience Platform, Proactive Outreach Manager, Callback Assist, or equivalent platforms).
- Design, build, and maintain automated test frameworks using Selenium (Java or Python) and Python/Shell scripting for test automation and execution.
- Perform protocol-level SIP testing with tools like SIPp (and similar traffic generators); create custom call-flow scenarios.
- Plan and execute performance, load, and scalability tests using JMeter, SIPp, and related tools; monitor and analyze results with Prometheus/Grafana.
- Troubleshoot SIP/RTP issues through log, trace, and packet analysis (using Wireshark and equivalent tracing tools).
- Manage test cases, defects, and tracking using Jira and Confluence.
- Define test strategies, coverage metrics, and entry/exit criteria for release verification.
- Deploy, configure, and maintain test environments (clustered setups, TLS/certificates, SIP endpoints, secure signaling) on Linux (RHEL preferred), VMware, KVM, Docker, and Kubernetes.
- Apply deep knowledge of SIP, TLS, TCP/UDP, networking (DNS, NAT, firewalls), and secure communications.

- Experience: 47 years in software QA/testing.
- At least 3 years in Unified Communications (UC), Contact Center, or real-time communication domains.
- Strong preference for hands-on experience with Avaya solutions, but candidates with equivalent depth in SIP-based UC/Contact Center platforms will be considered.
Qualifications
: B.E./B.Tech in Computer Science, Electronics & Communications, or related field.
