The team based out of Bangalore works on cutting edge technologies leveraging Generative AI, BIM, big data, analytics and sophisticated real time technologies to empower path breaking solutions in this space.
Position Summary
Exciting career opportunity as a Software Quality Assurance Engineer role in the Software Development Organization based out of our Bangalore development centre.
Design test plans and test suites for our SaaS platform
Write and execute tests (both manual and where needed automated) and maintain daily execution of the same in order to maintain quality standards of products being developed
Execute system level and services level performance tests for the platform
Extensively test backend APIs (both REST and GraphQL) and always ensure backend integrity
Create high level software testing documents and outline software quality metrics
Work both independently and as an integral member of a high-performance team
Work closely with Software Development team in testing and problem resolution
Job Description/ Responsibilities
5+ years of relevant, strong Software Quality Assurance expertise
Understanding of and exposure to tools & technologies like Jira, Postman, Rest Assured, API Tester, JMeter etc.
Demonstrated experience in adapting and improving engineering best practices (e.g., test-driven development, continuous delivery, scrum practices, automation, Maintainable and testable code)
Strong skills and understanding of OOPS concepts
Experience in Machine Learning Models testing is a huge advantage
Demonstrated understanding and experience of API testing is a MUST
Proficient in writing SQL queries for Back-end Testing as well as a background in API Web Services Testing with Postman and Rest Assured API
Experience with testing of SAAS platforms is a huge plus
Knowledge of software development methodologies, especially Agile methodologies
Desired Years of Experience - 5+ Years
Desired Profile of the Candidate
Experience In GraphQL APIs Highly Preferred
Understanding of performance testing using JMeter
Good understanding of JavaScript
Hands-on experience in any of the JavaScript based testing frameworks is a plus
Experience with mobile applications testing (Android and iOS)
Hands-on experience with Automated Testing tools such as Protractor, Cypress, Cucumber, Selenium WebDriver, and Appium is desired

Passion for delivering robust software
Desire to learn new skills and learn automation testing both UI and backend APIs
Keen interest in new technologies and their timely adoption
Willingness to work extended hours as required to deliver projects
Ability to work well in a team to deliver on team goals with minimal supervision
Flexibility under changing conditions and ability to multi-task between projects
Proven ability to work in a fast paced, highly responsive agile team with rapidly evolving requirements and architectures
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
UG Qualification
Bachelor's or Master's Degree in Computer Science or related fields
