Oversee the design, development, and delivery of reporting, data access, and analytics solutions that meet business, product, and customer needs.
Ensure operational excellence by overseeing production support, monitoring, incident management, and continuous improvement of reporting systems performance, accuracy, and reliability.
Lead end to end BI solution delivery - from requirements refinement to data modeling, ELT/ETL, and high-performance dashboards.
Architect scalable, secure, and reusable BI assets, enforcing standards for modeling, QA, and performance optimization.
Ensure data accuracy and integrity in visualizations
Drive Agile delivery - manage backlogs, prioritize sprints, conduct story pointing, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
Maintain thorough documentation of all visualization processes and develop training content for end users.
Basic Qualifications
5+ years of engineering team management experience
7+ years of engineering experience
Knowledge of engineering best practices and architectural patterns across the full software, hardware, and network development lifecycle, including coding standards, code reviews, source control, build and deployment processes, testing, certification, and live-site operations.
Experience partnering with product or program management teams
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in communicating with users, other technical teams, and senior leadership to collect requirements, describe software product features, technical designs, and product strategy
Experience in recruiting, hiring, mentoring/coaching and managing teams of Software Engineers to improve their skills, and make them more effective, product software engineers
Technical Skill
Expert in Power BI, including enterprise dashboarding, advanced analytics, and embedded delivery.
Design end-to-end BI architecture (data ingestion, modeling, visualization) with REST APIs, embedded analytics, and automated reporting.
Strong SQL, C#, and current cloud technologies and vendors (AWS, GCP, Azure, OCI).
Proficient with Apache Airflow for workflow orchestration, data quality, and performance optimization.
Skilled in Git/GitHub, CI/CD pipelines, and automated BI asset testing.
