SENIOR, SOFTWARE ENGINEER

 Responsibilities

Full Stack Development & Engineering

• Build reusable, scalable UI components using ReactJS, NextJS, Redux, TypeScript, JavaScript (ES6), HTML, and CSS.
• Develop backend services using Java, Spring Boot, J2EE, Hibernate, and JAX-RS.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs and service-oriented architectures.
• Work on Node.js backend services where applicable.

System Design & Architecture

• Contribute to scalable and distributed system design.
• Work with microservices architecture and cloud-based systems (GCP / Azure).
• Apply knowledge of design patterns, multithreading, concurrency, and JVM internals.

Data, Backend & Distributed Systems

• Work with databases and storage systems such as SQL, Cosmos DB, Cassandra, Elasticsearch, Hive, Hadoop, and Kafka.
• Implement streaming and event-driven architectures using Kafka.
• Ensure data consistency, performance, and scalability across systems.

Testing, Quality & CI/CD

• Develop and maintain unit and integration tests using JUnit, Jest, Enzyme, React Testing Library.
• Ensure code quality using tools like SonarQube.
• Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps best practices.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure adherence to engineering standards.

Production Support & Optimization

• Perform root cause analysis for production issues and implement fixes.
• Monitor application performance using logging, alerting, and observability tools.
• Optimize system performance and improve reliability and scalability.

Collaboration & Agile Delivery

• Work closely with product managers, designers (including Figma-based UI/UX), and global engineering teams.
• Participate in Agile ceremonies and sprint planning.
• Collaborate across geographies to deliver enterprise-grade solutions.

Security & Compliance

• Ensure software security and protect sensitive user data.
• Implement secure coding practices and compliance standards.
• Support accessibility standards (WCAG 2.2 AA).
