Senior Software Engineer

Work Location: India Remote

Engagement Model: Part-time (20 hours per week) or full-time employment

Engagement Duration: 3 months with possibility of extension

DataForce by TransPerfect is seeking a Tech Lead / Senior Software Engineer with deep expertise in Cloud and Generative AI to join our team. This is a hands-on leadership role, combining advanced cloud engineering with code evaluation for GenAI models. You will lead cloud-first initiatives, build scalable evaluation frameworks, and work across teams to ensure that AI-generated code and cloud deployments meet high standards of quality, performance, and security.

Main Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and refine cloud-based solutions for running and evaluating GenAI models at scale.
• Write, test, and optimize code to solve real-world challenges.
• Develop automated frameworks for validating cloud-deployed AI code and workflows.
• Ensure code and infrastructure are robust, efficient, and secure in cloud environments.
• Collaborate with research, engineering, and product teams to integrate cloud-based feedback loops into AI model development.

Job Requirements:

• 710+ years of experience delivering complex software and cloud-based solutions.
• Strong coding skills in at least one: Python, Java, C, C++, or JavaScript.
• Hands-on expertise with major cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP).
• Proven experience building CI/CD pipelines, automated testing frameworks, and monitoring systems for cloud deployments.
• Ability to evaluate and improve the efficiency, scalability, and security of cloud-native applications.

Preferred Requirements:

• Experience with Generative AI / LLMs and cloud deployment of AI/ML models.
• Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (Docker, Kubernetes).
• Background in building data pipelines and integrating AI evaluation workflows in the cloud.
