About this role:

Wells Fargo is seeking a Senior Software Engineer.


In this role, you will:

  • Lead moderately complex initiatives and deliverables within technical domain environments

  • Contribute to large scale planning of strategies

  • Design, code, test, debug, and document for projects and programs associated with technology domain, including upgrades and deployments

  • Review moderately complex technical challenges that require an in-depth evaluation of technologies and procedures

  • Resolve moderately complex issues and lead a team to meet existing client needs or potential new clients needs while leveraging solid understanding of the function, policies, procedures, or compliance requirements

  • Collaborate and consult with peers, colleagues, and mid-level managers to resolve technical challenges and achieve goals

  • Lead projects and act as an escalation point, provide guidance and direction to less experienced staff

Required Qualifications:

  • 4+ years of Software Engineering experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education


Desired Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience in Designing, developing and maintaining Distributed streaming applications using Java, J2EE, Spring frame works.
  • Experience with one or more Automation Testing Frameworks: Cucumber, Selenium, Postman,Karate, etc.

  • Design and develop custom solutions, plugins, and workflows within the Calypso platform

  • Customize Calypso for various business modules: front office, middle-office or back-office functions
  • Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to translate requirements into technical specifications
  • Integrate Calypso with internal and external systems.
  • Maintain and enhance Calypso configuration (products, workflows, engines, messaging, and reports)
  • Work closely with QA teams to support testing and validation
  • Troubleshoot technical issues and provide production support for Calypso environments
  • Participate in upgrades, patching, and system performance tuning
  • Good knowledge of SQL, Oracle, Unix, Linux, Shell scripts, batch scripts
  • Understanding of CICD tools like Jenkins, Udeploy
  • Knowledge of Calypso upgrade process Strong knowledge of capital markets products: FX, Rates, Fixed Income, Credit Derivatives, Repos, OTC Derivatives will be added advantage
  • Good to have: Openshift, Kafka, Kubernetes, Unit testing frameworks (Junit, TestNg)

  • Comfortable working in an Agile software delivery environment and desire to collaborate and work closely with cross-functional teams
  • Working closely with multiple technology teams to understand their requirements and deliver solutions.
  • Learning, adapting and implementing new concepts, technologies and improvements. Strong Technical Leadership & Engineering solution development
  • Provide expertise, direction, and assistance to junior engineers
