Role Description -

We are seeking a full-time Senior Software Engineer/Team Leader to join our team at our Thane (Mumbai) location. As a Senior Software Engineer/Team Leader, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining back-end and front-end components of web applications, implementing Object-Oriented Programming principles, and contributing to software development projects. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to design and deliver high-quality solutions, troubleshoot issues, and ensure optimal performance and functionality of the applications.

• Bachelor's/Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology

Position Overview -

We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Engineer/ Team Leader with strong PHP (Laravel Framework) expertise to join our development team. The Desired Candidate is responsible for developing, maintaining, and optimizing web applications using modern PHP frameworks and technologies. This role requires a professional who can lead technical initiatives and contribute to scalable software solutions.

Primary Duties -

• Design and develop robust web applications using PHP - Laravel framework
• Build and maintain database-driven applications with MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Create responsive and interactive user interfaces using HTML, CSS, and jQuery
• Develop and implement RESTful APIs and web services for seamless data integration
• Lead code reviews and ensure adherence to coding standards and best practices
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and QA engineers
• Lead software team

Technical Responsibilities -

• Architect and implement scalable web applications using the Laravel MVC framework
• Design and optimize database schemas, queries, and stored procedures in MySQL and PostgreSQL
• Implement version control workflow using GitLab for collaborative development
• Should know about CI/CD pipelines for automated testing and deployment
• Should know the deployment of applications on the AWS cloud
• Optimize application performance, security, and scalability
• Integrate third-party APIs and services into existing applications

Experience -

• 6 to 8 years of professional experience in PHP web development
• Proven experience in developing enterprise-level applications using the Laravel framework
• Hands-on experience with MySQL database design and optimization
• Experience with PostgreSQL database management and query optimization
• Demonstrated experience with the CodeIgniter and Laravel framework
