Senior Software Engineer

The Senior Software Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable, secure, and reliable application components and user-facing interfaces for internal and customer-facing applications used within the company. This role ensures that digital tools are intuitive, performant, and aligned with operational needs, enhancing both agent productivity and customer experience.

Accountability & Responsibilities of Role:

Design, develop, and maintain responsive, user-friendly interfaces and backend-integrated features for applications and dashboards.

Collaborate with UX/UI designers, back-end developers, and business analysts to translate requirements into functional, maintainable solutions.

Optimize applications for maximum speed, performance, accessibility, and cross-browser compatibility.

Ensure consistent design systems and branding across all digital platforms.

Integrate application components with APIs and back-end services, ensuring reliable data flow.

Conduct regular testing and debugging to ensure high-quality, error-free code.

Lead code reviews and contribute to engineering standards, best practices, and reusable components.

Work closely with operations teams to gather feedback and continuously improve user experience and system reliability.

Maintain clear documentation for components, workflows, and deployment processes.

Stay updated on emerging technologies and recommend pragmatic improvements to tools, frameworks, and processes.

Mentor developers and foster a culture of ownership and continuous improvement.

Work Experience:

Minimum of 4+ years of experience in software development.

Proven experience with HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, C#, and modern frameworks such as React.js, Angular, Vue.js or .NET Core.

Experience integrating applications with RESTful APIs.

Proficiency with version control (Git) and agile delivery practices.

Knowledge of UI/UX principles and responsive design.

Experience with CI/CD, containerization, and cloud platforms (e.g., Azure/AWS/GCP).

Experience with performance optimization and accessibility standards.

Familiarity with tools like Figma, Adobe XD, or similar design collaboration.

Understanding of systems design, distributed architectures, and how front-end and back-end integrate in production.
