Role Objective
Zywave is looking for a seasoned Senior Software Engineer to join our R&D team in Pune. You will be responsible for building, scaling, and maintaining high-impact products used by a global client base. This role is designed for a developer who thrives on high ownership, technical complexity, and the opportunity to work with modern cloud infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities
- Product Development: Design and develop robust, scalable, and high-quality software solutions using the .NET framework.
- Database Management: Write complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimize database performance for high-traffic applications.
- Cloud Architecture: Leverage AWS services to build and deploy cloud-native applications, ensuring high availability and security.
- R&D Innovation: Contribute to cutting-edge research and development projects to enhance product features and stay ahead of industry trends.
- Mentorship & Code Quality: Perform rigorous code reviews, maintain documentation, and mentor junior engineers to ensure best practices.
- Collaboration: Work closely with cross-functional teams (Product, QA, and DevOps) in an Agile environment to deliver impact-driven results.
Required Technical Skills
- Core Tech: Expert-level proficiency in .NET Core / ASP.NET MVC / C#.
- Backend: Strong experience with SQL Server (Schema design, T-SQL, Performance Tuning).
- Cloud: Hands-on experience with AWS (EC2, Lambda, S3, RDS, or similar services).
- Architecture: Solid understanding of Microservices architecture, Design Patterns, and RESTful APIs.
- Tools: Proficiency with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and Unit Testing frameworks (NUnit/XUnit).
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Proven experience building global, scalable SaaS products.
- Excellent communication skills and a product-first mindset.
- Ability to work effectively in a Hybrid setup in Pune.
