As a Senior Software Engineering CoE Team Lead, you will be in the lead to building up our team in India. Furthermore, you and your team will be contributing to transforming our engineering culture and application landscape, making technical contributions to developing our products, and be responsible for career development of direct reports.
Key Responsibilities:
- You will be building up our Engineering presence in Mumbai and will be responsible for managing the team(s)
- You will be fostering the engineering culture within your team(s) and nurture them to make impactful contributions to our Agile Release Train (ART)
- You will bring proven expertise in engineering practices and processes and have experience operating and supporting critical business systems on a global scale.
- You act as an engineering role model, who has expertise, and makes direct technical contributions to our systems.
- Your experience with microservices, cloud-native applications and distributed systems will help us propel our business growth.
- You have a keen interest in mentoring and developing other engineers in the team on all aspects of world class software development.
Skills Requirements:
Mandatory requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 7+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C# and Java
- 3+ years experience and proficiency in architecting and writing code for microservices and distributed applications
- Significant experience with Azure Application Platform, especially AKS
- Experience with developing for or deploying applications on Kubernetes
- 3+ years people management experience
- Experience with CI/CD, Testing, Observability, Automation.
Additional / Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with distributed architectures, or real-time systems.
- Experience with SQL and non-relational databases, preferably PostgreSQL and MongoDB.
- Experience operating, troubleshooting, and supporting high performance and business critical production systems.
- Experience with CI/CD, Testing, Observability, Automation.
- Experience working in the Financial Services Industry
This role is based at client location - Mumbai, only considering candidates who are based out of Mumbai.
