We are looking for a full stack software engineer to work across the product. We're building the world's best AI canvas where anyone can create and edit websites, slides, docs, and videos just by saying what they want.
Expectations
You must be comfortable taking a high level idea and executing it end to end. For example, you may be asked to build an entire editor for something like a website or a presentation with overall direction of how it should work. You must be able to
- Come up with the approach and overall first draft.
- Build both the frontend and backend
- Be able to setup any infrastructure end to end to see it in production. We have a well architected monorepo with automated CI and deployments as well feature flags.
- Think about product metrics and tracking. You are expected to come up with what events to track, what is useful to change, what could be done better. We use posthog to track and analyze everything we ship.
- You must be able to delegate and mentor junior engineers effectively and be able to take ownership of your area.
Minimum Requirement
- Minimum 2 years of experience working at an early stage or series startup.
- Have something live we can test or play around with (green github, live product that you worked on at your company etc - anything working that we can check is better than your resume)
Tech Stack
- Typescript Monorepo with react and react-native for mobile.
- GCP for our infrastructure and hosting.
- We use all frontier models as well as many open source models. Knowing about how agents work and an overall direction of the space is required.
Interview process
- 15 minute call with me - co-founder who handle engineering.
- Take-home task. You can do it using anything you have at your disposal within allotted time. It will be similar to what you will be doing at runable.
- Paid work trial for a day. Offer same week if we are a fit.
Expectations
Working hours: We work 6 days a week from 9 AM to 9 PM.
