Job Description
About the Role:
We are seeking a Senior software Engineer with
4 years to 8 Years of experience on backend scripts in
Python, R, C#, .NET, PHP (Laravel) and Node.js.
Requirements
- Work with business analysts to estimate and design effective, scalable and maintainable solutions that meet business initiatives and objectives
- Creative Marketing DevOps Engineer support and development that meets business requirements and technical design
- Work directly with other JCPenney IT associates as well as JCPenney business customers to communicate technical capabilities
- Troubleshoot pre- and post-production implementations
- Propose new ideas when there is strong business value and stay up to date on the latest technological trends and techniques
- Align engineering deliverables with product goals and sprint plans
- Work with Digital Asset Management (DAM) for asset ingestion, integration, workflow automation and optimization would be plus
- Minimum 3 years to 6 Years of experience on develop and maintain scalable REST APIs.
- At least 3 Years of experience on Cloud based automation solutions.
- Build and manage CI/CD pipelines for seamless deployment.
- Maintain and deploy code using Git, Bitbucket (Stash).
- Manage cloud infrastructure with AWS, particularly S3 buckets.
- Experience with Frontend development TypeScript, JavaScript, AngularJS (Angular 1.x), HTML and CSS.
- Operate efficiently in Linux/Unix and macOS environments.
- Expertise with shell scripts command lines.
- Knowledge working with Agile/scrum teams.
- Experience with database queries.
Nice To Have
- Familiarity with creative marketing DevOps or digital production environments.
- Understanding of content versioning, metadata tagging, and asset distribution in DAM systems.
- Familiar with marketing campaigns, offers and events.
