Senior Software Engineer - (Power BI development along with SSIS, DAX)

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain Power BI reports, dashboards, and visualizations that support business decision-making.
• Gather and analyze business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into actionable insights using Power BI.
• Perform detailed data analysis to identify trends, patterns, and actionable insights for strategic decision-making.
• Extract, transform, and load (ETL) data from various sources into Power BI, ensuring data accuracy and consistency.
• Develop and optimize complex DAX queries and Power Query scripts for advanced data manipulation.
• Collaborate with data engineers, DBAs, and IT teams to maintain data quality and integrity across systems.
• Monitor, troubleshoot, and improve the performance of existing Power BI reports and dashboards.
• Provide training and support to business users on Power BI tools, promoting best practices.
• Stay current with the latest Power BI features, tools, and industry trends to continuously enhance BI capabilities.

Required Skills & Qualifications:

• 4–7 years of experience in Power BI development and data analysis.
• Proficient in SSIS, DAX, and Power Query for data manipulation and complex calculations.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and experience querying databases for data extraction.
• Solid understanding of data visualization principles and best practices.
• Experience working with large, complex datasets from multiple data sources.
• Expertise in data modeling and designing efficient data structures within Power BI.
• Familiarity with Power BI Service features including report publishing, data refresh, and security configurations.
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills, able to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience with Excel and additional BI tools like Tableau or QlikView is a plus.
