Senior Software Engineer - Oracle Database

Key Responsibilities:

Product Development & Innovation:

• Design and implement new features to enhance Fivetran's data pipeline service for Oracle systems.
• Analyze and integrate newly released Oracle features into Fivetran's architecture.
• Develop software designs, contribute to the technical roadmap, and ensure scalability and performance.

System Reliability & Maintenance:

• Maintain and optimize existing connectors, ensuring high reliability and efficiency for enterprise-scale Oracle clusters.
• Identify, diagnose, and resolve complex data replication issues impacting customer systems.
• Participate in efforts to migrate high-performance client-side services to cloud-based environments.

Architecture & Code Quality:

• Advocate for best practices in software design, architecture, and performance optimization.
• Collaborate with other engineers to continuously improve the quality, maintainability, and efficiency of Fivetran's codebase.

Cross-Functional Collaboration:

• Work closely with Product Managers, QA Engineers, and cross-functional teams to ensure delivery of robust, customer-centric features.
• Participate in the recruitment process by conducting technical interviews and mentoring new engineers.
